Chapter 1: Grans Island

1. Wake up in Granseal and head right to the school.

2. Search the vase in the school basement to pick up a Medical Herb.

3. Recruit Sarah and Chester down in the school basement.

   Binoguio says: A basement full of recruits. The force grows.

4. Open the three chests in the castle's west wing for a Medical Herb, an Angel Wing and an Antidote.

5. Go behind the tower in Granseal, line up between the two windows, walk north as far as possible and search for a piece of Mithril.

   Binoguio says: Behind the tower, of course. Subtle as ever.

6. Fight the first battle at the tower and defeat the boss, Gizmo; a boss defeat ends the battle even with minions still standing.

7. Search the right-hand barrels at the docks for a Quick Chicken and the barrels below deck for a Medical Herb, then board the boat.

8. Leave Granseal; Jaha joins the force on the way out.

9. Fight the battle on the road to Yeel and defeat the boss, a Huge Rat.

10. Detour south to the Holy Sword Shrine before entering Yeel and search the mountains around it for a piece of Mithril.

11. In Yeel, search the vase in the first house for a Healing Seed.

12. Leave Yeel through its top exit toward Hawel's House.

13. Fight the battle on the way to Hawel's House and defeat the boss, a Huge Rat.

14. Recruit Kazin at Hawel's House and open both chests for an Antidote and a Healing Drop.

15. Fight the battle on the road and defeat the boss, a Galam Archer; win or lose, the force is taken to Galam Jail.

16. In the jail cell, walk left and search the table for the Chirrup Sandals.

17. Escape with Slade's help and search the wall at the top of his secret passage for a piece of Mithril.

18. Fight the battle inside Galam Castle and defeat the boss, a Galam Knight.

    Binoguio says: Inside the castle now. Subtlety was never Galam's style.

19. Take the Jewel of Light and recruit Slade after the battle.

20. Sneak into the weapon store in Galam town and open both chests for two Medical Herbs.

21. Leave Galam through the bottom gate toward Granseal; the north gate stays closed.

22. Fight the battle on the escape route and defeat the boss, a Dark Cleric.

23. Back in Granseal, talk to the lost, shivering animal in the small house with the vase and barrel and recruit him as Kiwi.

    Binoguio says: One pet shop later, the force has a mascot.

24. Keep Kiwi out of the front line for now; he starts with only 7 HP and is very vulnerable to magic.

25. Go to the castle and head for the Ancient Tower.

26. Fight the battle at the Ancient Tower and defeat the boss, a Dark Smoke.

27. Receive the Jewel of Evil after Princess Elis is kidnapped.

28. Search the small hole left by the earthquake, outside the castle and to the right, for a piece of Mithril.

29. Board the ship at the docks and sail from Grans Island to Parmecia.
